Today, on April 26, representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy informed the farmers of Zakarpattya in detail about the state support programs during the next workshop.

This event was held with the assistance of the Reforms Support Office (RSO) of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the EU Project "Support to Agricultural and Food Policy Implementation" (SAFPI), within a broad awareness Ministry’s campaign on government support programs in regions for farmers in 2018.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, RSO, Zakarpattya Regional State Administration, the State Farmers support fund of Ukraine, banks, profile experts, heads of farms and cooperatives, agricultural producers.

Among the issues that were considered at the seminar were the features of the financial support for farms (UAH 1 billion), in particular: under the program of reduction in the cost of loans (1.5 discount rates of the NBU), compensation of part of the value of purchased seeds (80%), support for cooperation (70% of the cost of equipment), compensation of services of advisory services (90%), partial reimbursement of the cost of Ukrainian machinery (40%).

In addition, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informed about the peculiarities of state support for livestock (UAH 4 billion) and cheapening the cost of acquiring machinery (25% are compensated for agricultural enterprises).

Particular attention was paid to the program for gardening, viticulture and hops. So, 300 million UAH was allocated for the restoration of support for Ukrainian gardening. In order to receive compensation at 80% for the purchase of planting material of fruit and berry cultures, grapes and hops both Ukrainian and foreign selection, farmers need to:

To submit to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, in electronic or paper form, the application form established by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, for inclusion into the list of applicants for state support.

Submit the required documents to the formed district commission (in case of absence of the regional commission) (http://minagro.gov.ua/uk/support_apk?tid_hierachy=1396).

Receive funds of state financial support at the bank account after the announcement of the corresponding order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
