The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko, during the press-conference dedicated to the 100^th day of the land market launching spoke out on the results: “Almost 7 M Ukrainian landowners have obtained the right for full-fledged ownership of their land. 28 thousand agreements, 70 thousand hectares, almost 44 thousand UAH per hectare – that is the results”.

The Minister emphasized: “Price of more than 40 thousand UAH per hectare was expected, and the process of price formation was going smoothly.  However, in the Kyiv Region the price per hectare is 240 thousand UAH. But this land is not for agricultural purpose, as such it is normal as Kyiv and surrounding areas is a key for price formation if we talk about non-agriculture purpose land.”
